The all-electric sedan features a revamped regenerative braking system and all-wheel drive system. Mercedes-Benz has also optimized the EQE’s battery, helping further increase the available range. According to the EPA website, the 2024 EQE 500 4MATIC® sees a 38-mile increase (now 298 miles) compared to the previous year. Other trims like the 350 4MATIC® saw an increase of 20 miles (now 280). For its performance, the Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan makes use of a single electric motor mounted on its rear axle, delivering 288 horsepower. The all-wheel drive EQE 500 4MATIC® steps this up by adding another electric motor to the front wheels. With both motors, the EQE 500 sees 402 horsepower and is capable of going 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds.
