Mercedes-Benz recently revealed precise details regarding its pricing available trim levels for its newest EQB SUV in advance of its anticipated delivery to North America this summer. Its starting price for the base model is $54,500, (plus destination fee), making it the most affordable EQ model thus far for US consumers.

For nearly 100 years, the luxury German car manufacturer has embedded itself into automotive history as the ultimate trailblazer in both opulence and performance. With each passing year…month really, countries are shifting towards zero-emission cars, and Mercedes-Benz has made it clear that it would like to follow suit with its EQ line of electrics.

For North American customers, the EQS sedan is the only model from the EQ that’s even available, it will also be accompanied by an SUV version some time this year. Another team member signing up is the EQE sedan, which is more compact than the EQS. On top of this, the company has shared various concepts exhibiting the potential of its EV gadgets like the VISION EQXX and is presently working on delivering a fully-electric G-Wagon in a few years.

Just as important is the newest and upcoming EQB compact. Initially announced for the fall of 2021, this fully-electric SUV will be the next to arrive on the scene, and here are some prices to reflect on.

EQB 300 4MATIC®

  • Base – $55,550
  • Exclusive – $56,800
  • Pinnacle – $59,350

EQB 350 4MATIC®

  • Base – $59,100
  • Exclusive – $60,350
  • Pinnacle – $61,400

It was via a press release that Mercedes-Benz revealed what US pricing would amount to, emitting details of the two trims that will be available to consumers in the States. This summer, we’ll see the automaker bring about its standard EQB SUV (the 300 4MATIC® and 350 4MATIC®), together with two separate trim levels that add on top of this, more specifically, the Exclusive and Pinnacle models. Here’s the run down:

These two trim levels fluctuate in added features. For instance, the Exclusive trim comes with the KEYLESS GO® package, inductive wireless charging, NFC pairing (highly useful IMO), and a prime sound system. The Pinnacle trim, which offers even more luxury, has all of the niceties of the EQB Exclusive but adds on a Burmester surround-sound system, a Panoramic roof, and a surround-view camera of the SUV.

Regardless of what version or trim one opts for, each model comes with a 7-seat row option, of course with an added fee. It also comes with two years of complimentary 30-minute charging sessions on Electrify America’s network.
