2021 Mercedes C-Class revealed – all-new 3 Series rival to channel S-Class luxury

No matter if it’s a sedan, coupe or convertible, the C-Class car hits all of the bells and whistles for its style, AWD system, and high-performing AMG® variants. What doesn’t get enough credit is its top-notch interior design and features. Let’s take a deeper look into everything there is to explore in the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Interior Comfort

While the outer body of the C-Class is certainly a work of art, its lodge has even more majestic qualities about it, with its opulent look and feel that you’d be used to seeing in more expensive vehicles, especially its rivals.

The car comes available in leather, wood, aluminum, and an extensive color palette, making it very easy to make your own. Then, the coupe and convertible models get the perk of having a standard Burmester system, along with 64-color ambient lighting. On top of this, the highest-ranking cabriolet has a standard Aircap system that discourages excessive turbulence in the car.

Safety Technologies

All 2021 C-Class models have a Pre-Safe system that assess whether or not a collision is about to occur. If so, preparations such as the tightening of seat belts will be made, along with the closing of windows and sunroof, plus a change in position from the front passenger seat for (optimum) impact protection.

Active Emergency Stop Assist

As part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, this system works together with active cruise control and lane-keeping assistance technologies. It determines when the driver’s hands are off the steering wheel, and should they fail to respond to a request to take back control, the system will assume that the driver has either fallen asleep or is in need of a medical emergency. The slow will then begin to slow down, and eventually bring it to a stop, activating flashing hazard lights.

Evasive Steering Assist

This is another available feature on the Driver Assistance Package. It helps drivers to maintain control of their car in instances where sudden evasive action is needed to (avoid) a pedestrian, animal, or another object.

Standard Features

Standard nifties on all C-Class models involve C-Class body styles include LED headlights/taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry/ignition, rain-sensing wipers, driver attention monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and hands-free trunk lid operation.

The 10-inch information display is the outlet for infotainment systems like Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, as well as a free 3-year subscription to Mercedes Me Connect services. There’s also a 12.3-inch digital driver information display and heated front seats for all trims.

Coupe and Cabriolet models upgrade with power-folding side mirrors, a Burmester surround-sound system, satellite radio with a free 6-month subscription, and 64-color ambient interior lighting with illuminated door sills.
